Infrastructure Project Manager - Cloud and Systems

Kforce has a client in Ewing, NJ that is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager - Cloud and Systems. The candidate will be required to work on-site in the office 5 days a week.

Summary: The Infrastructure Project Manager/Lead for Cloud and overall Systems will be responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and operations of the Technology Infrastructure team. This role will ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure and aligning technology initiatives with business goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Cloud/Infrastructure Operational Administration and Technical Leadership - Manage Cloud operations and acting as subject matter expert on departmental projects to ensure Cloud and Infrastructure engineering initiatives (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) are aligned with the client s strategic plan and line of business goals.
• Emerging Technology research - Develop technology roadmaps to align new desktop engineering initiatives to company and line of business goals
• Operational Administration - Provides technical support to Server Specialist, project managers, developers, designers, service desk staff, workstation support staff, other IT staff, and end users. Participates in the troubleshooting of all hardware and software
• Documentation/Administration - Responsible for the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery documentation and procedures
  
  

Required Skills : * 10-15 years of related information technology experience in infrastructure * Candidate should be an experienced Project Manager and Lead for Infrastructure and Cloud focused projects * Experience in solely managing infrastructure initiatives * Technical proficiency to understand architecture and business solution requirements and put that into a vision/roadmap * Creating and managing project plans and resources * Cloud experience with AWS and some Azure, overall IT infrastructure experience * Proficiency and experience with AWS and/or Azure services * Build, operate and support AWS and/or Azure Cloud environments * Experience managing strategic security and cloud vendor relationships * Strong experience with Linux and Windows Server system administration is required * Able to work in a midsized company wearing many hats and able to adapt to the team culture
