The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday Extend and Workday Integrations, with a deep understanding of Workday architecture and integration capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and implement custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration with Workday functional modules and third-party systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation (design specifications, test plans, and user guides).
- Perform unit testing and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Extend applications.
- Stay updated on Workday releases and recommend enhancements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Workday Extend Development (2-3 years)
- Workday Integrations (2-3 years)
- Strong JavaScript, XML, and XSLT experience
- Agile methodology experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Workday PRISM
- Workday Studio
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs
- Knowledge of HR processes and systems
- Workday Extend Certification (preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Workday Extend development experience in HR implementations is required. Candidates without direct Workday Extend experience in HR will not be considered.
