PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION
The Build Manager manages the entire onboarding process for new customers, beginning to end - from sales handover to project kickoff to configuration to training - ensuring the rollout process is quick and smooth for our customers. Each customer build is individualized and specific to that department. This requires a level of autonomy to make decisions about not just the build but how to best serve the customer. This role requires an understanding of the complexities within a department and the ability to make independent decisions about how to best proceed. The Build Manager will handle multiple projects all at different points of the project lifecycle.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consult with customers during the build process regarding best practices to meet their specific needs.
- Advise on complex issues or questions that arise before, during, and after the build to determine the best course of action for each individual scenario.
- Manage 20-50 concurrent projects through the build, training, and implementation stages.
- Manage the entire onboarding process for new customers, as well as existing customer that purchase additional products.
- Coordinate with a small project team to complete the build and configuration of customer's platform.
- Review and organize customer documentation as it's received.
- Organize and lead virtual "Build Kickoff" meetings at the start of the onboarding process to align project expectations and communicate what is needed to ensure the project is successful.
- Proactively communicate and send updates to the customer throughout the onboarding process.
- Lead virtual "Build Review" meetings to show customers how to use their platform once it's built.
- Lead virtual "Touch Base" meetings with customers as needed to make modifications in preparation for implementation.
- Lead 2-5 virtual meetings each day with customers.
- Continue to work with the customer helping with individualized needs beyond the initial build.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the onboarding process to build long-term loyalty.
- Work hours may fluctuate based on customer schedules spanning multiple time zones.
- Light travel may be required, limited to a few trips each year.
