We are looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our team at our outpatient counseling office located in Austintown, Ohio. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clinic. You will coordinate front-desk activities including answering incoming phone calls on a multi-line system, checking patients in/out, collecting payments, scheduling appointments, scanning documents into client charts, and assisting the staff with clerical needs.
To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a friendly and welcoming personality. A Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes clients positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong skill sets with organization, time management, and multi-tasking.
A full-time position would be 32-40 hours per week, and eligible for benefits, with a work week consisting of Monday-Friday with standard business hours. No weekends or major holidays.

Responsibilities
- Greet clients as they arrive at the office
- Ensure all client contact and insurance information is up-to-date.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area and lobby is tidy and presentable
- Coordinate with all clinicians via email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries and faxes
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures
- Schedule client appointments
- Send appointment reminders
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties to support the functioning of the office and comply with HIPAA Standards
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role preferred
- Proficiency in use of computer technology and programs
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers) preferred
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Cannot be an active patient or patient within the last 5 years at one of PsyCare's clinics due to legal and ethical standards set by the state of Ohio and the Ohio Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist's Board.
- Must complete an Ohio BCI and FBI background check prior to hiring
