Henry Ford Medical Group is actively recruiting a psychiatrist to join the Jackson Hospital (HFJH) with interest in hospital-based or outpatient centered services. Clinical responsibilities will entail a negotiated flexible blend of applicant interest / preference and HFJH needs. We will partner with interested applicants to create a position both fulfilling and sustainable.
The successful applicant will demonstrate passion for teaching, mentoring, interdisciplinary education, and lifelong learning, and serve as a model of professional behavior and a scholarly approach to clinical work.
If interested, opportunity exists to provide supervision and lectures to residents, medical students, and interdisciplinary learners, and participate in a range of learning forums and scholarly activities.
Summary

Preferred Experience
· One year experience working as a licensed psychiatrist preferred but will enthusiastically entertain newer graduates with passion for clinical service and teaching and determined to be a good fit for the team.
Minimum Education
· Graduate of a medical school.
· Graduate of an ACGME or AOA training program.
· ABPN Board Certified / Eligible
Applicants must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, possess a current license to practice medicine in the State of Michigan, completed an accredited residency in Psychiatry, and be board certified or eligible (BE/BC) in Psychiatry. Candidates must have shown promise for a career emphasizing clinical care, teaching and/or administration, and a firm commitment to developing superior clinical and teaching skills. An interest in delivery of new and innovative care models is most welcome.
