Medical Scribe

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters in real-time, ensuring that all medical records are complete and compliant with regulations.

Duties

• Accurately transcribe medical documentation during patient visits, including history, physical exams, and treatment plans.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records by documenting all relevant information in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Assist healthcare providers in capturing critical data related to patient care, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Collaborate with medical staff to understand clinical workflows and improve documentation practices.
• Stay updated on medical terminology to ensure precise documentation.
• Support the organization of patient charts and ensure that all necessary documents are readily available for provider review.

Skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology is essential for accurate documentation.
• Experience in an ER or medical office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong typing skills with the ability to transcribe information quickly and accurately.
• Familiarity with medical documentation systems and electronic health records (EHR).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients while maintaining confidentiality.
