Overview
Psychology Specialists of Oklahoma is a compassionate and client-focused mental health practice dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients. We are looking to add another member to our amazing team of Patient Services Coordinators. This position involves managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and providing essential administrative support to the entire clinic's staff and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a background in medical terminology, enabling them to effectively communicate with patients and staff alike.

Duties

  • Greet and check in clients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the calendar for multiple providers
  • Handle client inquiries with discretion and sensitivity
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Process payments
  • Track and handle referrals
  • Manage office supplies and maintain a clean, organized reception and waiting area
  • Coordinate communication between clients and clinicians as needed
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the practice

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical office or mental health office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional patient service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
