Psychotherapeutic Services is currently seeking a Full time Lead Clinician for our Dover Delaware location.
The primary goals of a Lead Clinician is to increase the persons’ capacity for independent community living, through the establishment of support, rapport, role-modeling, teaching, and the provision of activities and learning experiences.
POSITION SUMMARY
Facility based, the Lead Clinician is in constant face-to-face contact with persons served primarily in a group home residential treatment center setting. The Lead Clinician’s goal is to increase the person’s capacity for independent community living, through the establishment of support, rapport, role-modeling, teaching, and the provision of activities and learning experiences. The Lead Clinician is also assigned tasks and functions to cover vacancies or absences as required. The Lead Clinician exercises discretion and sound judgment in the performance of the duties of the position.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, nursing, vocational/psychiatric rehabilitation, education or other mental health field from an accredited college or university; or a registered nurse with direct experience in mental health service
