What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPCC/LCSW/LMFT Therapist position at PsychPros Inc.?
A non-profit service provider in Jessamine County is seeking a full-time licensed LPCC or LCSW therapist for its community-based program. The role will be responsible for the assessment, evaluation, and clinical counseling services for children and adolescents with substance use and emotional/behavioral disorders. Addresses behavioral health issues by providing individual, family, and group therapeutic counseling. The therapist will provide therapeutic services to families referred for crisis intervention and the children/families will begin receiving these services immediately upon receipt of the referral (when caseload permits). The Therapist will coordinate on-going services for these families in order to further a more stabilized pattern of behavior.
Job Requirements
- Must have a master’s degree from an accredited university in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
- Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
- Prior experience in substance use disorders and mental health treatment for children/adolescents/ or families.
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Must have a valid Kentucky driver’s license and submit to an intensive background investigation.
