Rehab Specialist

We are looking for a PT rehab specialist who wants to be part of a team that is growing and striving to be a leading therapy clinic in the North Dallas community.

We offer a complete and well rounded soft tissue and rehabilitation program. The clinic is well positioned to provide therapies for participating medical, chiropractic, extremity orthopedic, spine, pain management, other specialties, allowing for an immediate, constant and diversified flow of new and existing patients.

We are looking for a rehab specialist who is ready to learn and grow with our multidisciplinary clinic system.

Hours of Operation:

Part-time and Full-time position with hours of operation: Monday - Friday. No weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Candidate must have knowledge or be willing to learn passive modality procedures.
• Candidate must be able and willing to prep and maintain all treatment areas.
• Candidate must be able to execute the treatment plan according to direction of licensed providers.
• Must have knowledge of anatomy and basic rehab principles.
• Must be able to actively demonstrate rehab exercises for patients.
• Assist in completing and maintaining patient records/notes that follow compliance procedures.
• Must be attentive and actively listening during patient care.

Competency:

• Candidates must be able to follow the plan of care and direction of the PT, PTA, & Chiropractor.
• Candidate must act in accordance with moral and ethical standards of the clinic.
• Candidate must provide attentive care to patients under direction of licensed providers in the clinic.

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college recommended.

Exercise or rehab background with related certifications/training is preferred.

Experience is appreciated but not necessary for job position.

Work Location/Environment:

We are looking for a Rehab Specialist for our Frisco West outpatient PT clinic.

We value cultivating a fun, fast-paced, team environment.

Physical Demands:

-Must be able to carry and lift weights based on prescribed exercises of patients. This can be up to 50 lbs.

-Learn, perform, and demonstrate passive therapies with confidence and knowledge

-Learn, perform, and demonstrate active therapies with confidence and knowledge

-Standing and sitting throughout the day

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
