Key Responsibilities:
Perform initial evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans based on medical history and clinical assessment.
Deliver hands-on therapy using evidence-based techniques to treat musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical conditions.
Monitor patient progress, update treatment goals, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Collaborate with PTAs, aides, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient experience.
Educate patients and families on home exercises, recovery expectations, and preventive care.
Ensure all treatments and documentation comply with federal, state, and insurance regulations.
Participate in clinic meetings, continuing education, and quality assurance initiatives.
Requirements:
Current New York State PT license (Required).
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a varied caseload.
Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in outpatient orthopedic or neurological rehab is a plus.
