Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks under the supervision of licensed therapists.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
- Document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities of daily living.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and patient care practices is preferred.
- Experience in acute care, outpatient settings, or geriatrics is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and perform light lifting tasks as needed.
