What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infrastructure Engineer position at PT Solutions Physical Therapy?
The Infrastructure Engineer position participates on a team responsible for operational monitoring, maintenance, and support of all IT infrastructure systems, including Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud Servers, VoIP phone system, and critical Meraki-based network systems. This position will be theinternal support escalation for Tier 3 issues.
Essential Functions
Cloud Service Administration
- Administration and troubleshooting of Window OS (Server and Desktop)
- Configuration and management of server roles (AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS, IIS, NPS)
- Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) – Resource groups, role management, subscription management, backups, and monitoring
- EntraID and AD monitoring and administration
- Computer imaging and configuration management (InTune, Tanium)
- EntraID SSO setup and maintenance
- Powershell and other scripting tools
- Other duties as required
Network Administration
- Provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance of Meraki network systems
- Enterprise firewall management
- Public Domain name management
- Public DNS management
- SSL certificate management
- Resolution of escalated network issues
- Internet circuit provisioning and troubleshooting
- Engage managed service providers as needed for specific software, hardware, or project needs relating to infrastructure
- Other duties as required
Support new clinic Openings
- Managed Service Provider management and coordination
- Network provisioning
- Network printer management
- Setup site monitoring
- Other duties as required
Systems Monitoring and Analysis
- Establish continuous monitoring of system KPIs
- Create appropriate notifications when events occur outside of thresholds
- Perform trend analysis and performance improvement recommendations
- Other duties as required

Required Skills & Abilities

- Expert skills supporting the Microsoft 365 productivity suite, including Exchange Online and Teams
- Scripting and automation
- Acquisition and data migration experience utilizing tools like BitTitan
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
- Network , CCNA, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP
- Experience with PRTG
- Agile experience / project management skills
- Strong documentation skills with a desire to mentor less experienced teammates
Required Credentials:
- 5 years experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT-related fields or engineering
- IT industry certifications
