What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist - Inpatient Rehab position at PT Solutions Physical Therapy?
Together with Ascension St. Vincent Hospital at Evansville, as an Inpatient Speech Laguage Pathologist, you'll work one-on-one with hospitalized patients to bring them a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and Activities of Daily Living. You are comfortable communicating and educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines. This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced based practice for our patients.

Your Responsibilities as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care
- Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient’s family, fellow clinicians, and other team members
- Build and maintain relationship with hospital (i.e. physicians, case management, nurses, social workers, dietitians, etc.)
Qualifications
- Graduate of a master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
- Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
