Job Overview
The Repair Technician must have excellent electromechanical and electronic diagnostic and repair abilities. They must be organized, thorough, trustworthy, provide high quality work, and have thorough problem-solving skills.
The repair aspect of the job does not require any specific knowledge of therapy equipment, but does require strong electronics skills (diagnosing faulty components and boards, replacing boards, headers, etc. and some de-soldering and re-soldering replacement components) and strong electrical and mechanical skills (replace small electric motors, heating elements, fluid pumps, wiring, etc.).
You will receive company training and also make significant use of technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and manufacturer support. However, each repair is different so judgment and electromechanical and electronics aptitude are critical. Knowledge of standard electronics and mechanical tools, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, is required. All tools and equipment are provided by the company.
This is a permanent position and is intended to be in the repair shop 5 days a week, 9 to 5. However, for the right candidate we are open to other arrangements, including flexible and part-time work.
Job Functions
- Complete and thorough documentation of equipment, diagnostics, and repairs
- Testing and calibration according to manufacturer requirements
- Follow safety policy standards and practices and OSHA and state requirements
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Ensure adequate levels of parts, supplies, and inventory
- Partner with office and field service technicians
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to rapid business changes that accompanies a high-growth environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to work with little supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Mechanical ability - be able to look at mechanical or electrical equipment and "get it" -understand intuitively how things work and why they aren't working
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Electronics diagnosis and repair capabilities
- Activities may include lifting up to 50 lbs. or more; bending, twisting and repetitive movements; and standing.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.55 - $24.55 per hour
