- The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates patient's speech and language abilities, both defects and assets, and performs periodic reevaluations.
- Patient care involves instructing and counseling other health team personnel and family members in methods of assisting patients in improving, correcting, and accepting disabilities.
- Maintain records of patient's progress and reaction toward treatment on a daily basis.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for patients.
