Platinum Technologies currently has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to help develop emerging technologies for special operator Develop emerging technologies for special operator requirements
This role is HYBRID. Located at MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida. Candidate must hold an active TS / SCI clearance.
What you get to do.
- Designs, develops, implements, and fields networking environment by designing system configuration; participating in and overseeing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
- Plans network layouts, configures systems to user environments
- Perform equipment operational tests in accordance with existing test plans and instructions, collect and record completed test data, and identify / report findings of any failed test parameters
- Configuration and interconnectivity testing of Cisco firewalls, switches, and routers
- Configuration and testing of encryption devices as it pertains to inclusion in network upgrades
- Deploying to install configured equipment in various worldwide locations
- Troubleshooting and back-side support of deployed personnel and associated equipment
- Conduct site surveys across all deployed locations
- Managing documentation by finalizing all checklists and diagrams for customer evaluation and approval
