Job Summary:
This position will support the implementation of automation and controls within projects across the Company. Additionally, the engineering group is creating company standards for each facility to follow (electrical power systems, automation, facility infrastructure…), so this position will help with this effort.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop scope-of-work and request-for-quotation for equipment and component vendors, service providing contractors, original equipment manufacturers, systems integrators, …
- Managing contractors and / or employees in the execution of the project
- Project management, making sure projects stay “on-time” and within budget.
- Assist with Project Risk and Identification Reviews and creating mitigation plans regarding the specific items identified.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Heavy-industrial experience is a requirement (5 years), with experience in the pipe manufacturing industry preferred.
- BSEE degree from an ABET accredited institution is preferred.
- Experience managing capital projects and Continuous Improvement activities.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements (cont’d):
- Experience with developing and maintaining automation controls programs using relay ladder logic, Structured Text, and functional block diagrams.
- Experience working with variable frequency drives, DC drive configurations, HMI’s, and integrated safety systems.
