JOB TITLE:
Maintenance helper group 3
SOURCE OF SUPERVISION:
Maintenance foremen
Mill foremen
Maintenance expeditor
DUTIES:
- Performs maintenance procedures within the scope of abilities
- Works with and/or under the guidance of Group 1 and 2 maintenance personnel repairing machinery or equipment
- Makes all required reports neatly and accurately; provides information to concerned personnel between shifts
- Reports to the foreman any unusual circumstances or potential problems that may adversely affect personnel, production or equipment
- Cleans all areas of the plant when not directed by supervisor to do anything else.
- Follows all required safety procedures and reports any unsafe conditions or procedures in the plant
- Performs maintenance inspections as required
- Completes any required training as needed
- Performs miscellaneous duties as required
The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers. Duties and Responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the PTC Quality Management System and its policies, procedures, and work instructions as applicable to the job or function being performed.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:
- Owns own tools
- Tools and machines in maintenance shop
SPECIAL ABILITIES, APTITUDES, QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a good back round in math and computers
- Has sufficient mechanical aptitude to score a minimum of 50% correct answers on both the Shop math (SRA form AH) and Mechanical Tools (SRA form A) test
- Must be prompt and dependable in attendance and available for overtime
- Expected to be able to lift, push, pull, 100 pounds. Required to stand, walk, or climb for the entire shift. Must be able to bend, squat and have full range of all limbs without restrictions.

All levels of production duties and qualifications listed above
All levels of training from outside resources as required
SPECIAL LICENSE NEEDED:
Must maintain a valid drivers license
