Duties And Responsibilities
- Work closely with technical team leads, project managers and other stakeholders to determine their critical tasks, identify contractual milestones and associate interdependencies across the program to develop and maintain a detailed, resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Develop and maintain summary level schedule (Gantt) reports, milestone charts, and other program management tools used to support critical path analysis, near term tasks, priority-based resource allocations, performance variances
- Prepare project and program status reports based on current and forecast schedules; implement and maintain schedule change control
- Conduct and facilitate weekly IMS reviews with program team
- Manage schedules, review project status, and understand how to assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Actively monitor project progress with an emphasis on problem solving.
- Follow schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures
- Work in collaboration with project managers to drive efficiency in project execution and accuracy in project reporting
- Prepare trend analysis to identify problem areas and submit recommendations for corrective actions
- Perform schedule estimating and updating for new work and remaining work
- Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems
- Maintain accurate records/paperwork
- Be willing to work outside of normal business hours as required to meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or related discipline, or equivalent
Required Skills
- IMS creation and scheduling experience
- Experience managing multiple projects and pulling together multiple schedules into a master schedule and/or interfacing with other teams managing different schedules
- Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
- Excellent Problem Resolution skills
- Great team and client interaction skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain accurate and up to date complex schedules for multiple projects
- Skilled in gathering, analyzing, documenting and briefing information
- Ability to effectively convey requirements, concerns and capabilities to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- MS Project Server experience (not required, highly desirable)
