Job Description
The Automation Controls Engineer will design, select, and implement components and develop the logic for PTI's proprietary technologies.
The role is positioned on PTI's R&D team, focused on the development of new applications and custom engineering to help support the food, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries with leading edge engineering and a focus on critical packaging applications.
Responsibilities
- Designing, selecting, and implementing components and developing the logic for PTI's proprietary technologies.
- Programming, documenting, training and release testing of finalized technologies to the various industries PTI supports.
- Collaboration within the controls team as well as between software and mechanical engineering.
Requirements
- 2 years of job experience.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field.
- Must have legal permission to work in the U.S. and have a valid passport.

This position is as a team member of PTI's Inspection Division, which is responsible for designing and developing the most sophisticated non-destructive container closure system inspection technologies in the world.
