Human Resources Qualifications or Skill Required:
Associate degree preferred or equivalent training
Exceptional communication skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Knowledgeable in the principles and practices of Human Resources
Prior experience with an HRIS Database
Prior experience with computerized payroll software
Proven ability to develop and motivate a team
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Recruiting hourly employees, including interview, selection to PTI Standard, New Hire Paperwork, communicate names and wages of new employees, orientation
- Calling On-Call employees when there is a need
- Administration of payroll
- Responsible for maintaining Plex HRIS System and compile reports from database as needed
- Administer various HR programs and procedures for all company associates
- Conduct new associate orientation
- Employee issue resolution
- Handling disciplinary actions, including tracking
- File and maintain associates records and reports
- Maintain applicant log
- Assist in training and development efforts
- Maintain Company org chart and associate contact directory
- Ordering office supplies as needed
- May include Receptionist duties
- Perform other duties as assigned
Operations Specialist
- Responsible for directing and supervising a group of employees involved in inspection and Quality Control/Production procedures with regard to purchased material, in-process material and finished products to assure that quality control standards are achieved for customer requirements.
- Plan, assign, and train the work of subordinates.
- Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, make suggestions with regard to procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.
- Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.
- Responsible for compilation and maintenance of work instructions, inspection reports and records.
- Investigate and determine the cause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors as to corrective measures.
- Maintain discipline, morale and harmonious relations among subordinates in a fast-past environment.
- Ensuring customer requirements are being met. Actively communicate with customer on needs and schedule.
- Responsible for 5S in Work Area
- Employee must adhere to all 5S and safety rules
- Required participation in semi-annual work reviews
- Employee must adhere to all ISO/IATF procedures and work instructions
- Perform All other Assigned Duties
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Comply with OSHA requirements
