Maintenance Technician
- Qualifications or Skills:
- Ability to differentiate colors
- Ability to read Blueprints
- Knowledge of motors, exhaust, electricity, high and low voltage
- Mechanical Skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Ability to speak, read & write in English
- Ability to follow work rules
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- High school diploma or GED, Some Technical training in Maintenance preferred
- Job Duties:
- Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the production floor and the entire facility to minimize downtime.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor and designs plans to prioritize task.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs preventative maintenance on machinery building or grounds as required and prioritizes task and is hold accountable for completion.
- Can delegate and communicate effectively all of the above task to maintenance team.
- Performs a daily walk thru to keep up with facility needs.
- Required to be knowledgeable with:
General Safety Lock-out Tag-out SDS Forklift Safety Confined Space Required permits HAZMAT Fabrication Washer Maintenance Preventable Maintenance Pipe Fitting Welding
- PPE must be worn
- Ensuring customer requirements are being met
- Responsible for 5S in Work Area
- Employee must adhere to all 5S and safety rules
- Required participation in semi-annual work reviews
- Employee must adhere to all ISO/IATF procedures and work instructions
- Perform All other Assigned Duties
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
- Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
- Overhead conveyor: 1 year (Preferred)
- Electrical experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Pneumatics: 1 year (Preferred)
Shift availability:
- Overnight Shift (Preferred)
