What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Titration Technician position at PTI Quality Containment Solutions?
Automotive Service Provider in Roseville MI is seeking a Waste Water/Titration Tester to work on our Automotive Paint Line. PTI specializes in automotive under-body coatings. The Sterling Heights location holds a paint line that needs regular titration testing for proper chemical levels.
Qualifications or Skills:
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Ability to speak, read & write in English
- Ability to follow work rules
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience with chemical testing
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to input data into Google Sheets/MS Excel sheets
Job Duties:
- Extract washing liquid from washer tank(s)
- Mix washer liquid with appropriate chemicals in test beakers per customer requirements
- Note the titration levels in the beakers
- Adjust the titration level in the washer tanks as necessary
- Communicate with Management if water levels are out of spec
- PPE must be worn
- Ensuring customer requirements are being met
- Responsible for 5S in Work Area
- Employee must adhere to all 5S and safety rules
- Required participation in semi-annual work reviews
- Employee must adhere to all ISO/IATF procedures and work instructions
- Perform All other Assigned Duties
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
