Job Description:
Traveling Quality Inspector (Must Have Valid Driver's License)
Job Type: Full-Time, Overtime Included
(Mon-Fri Weekends Required)
PTI QCS is seeking to fill a Traveling Inspector Position based out of Three Rivers, MI. Travel throughout the region is required (MI, IN and OH). Paid travel expenses (rental car, gas, hotel and per diem).

Qualifications or Skill Required:
- Must have experience with Microsoft Excel
- Must have experience with Google Drive
- Must have computer knowledge
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Inspection and Quality Control methods, techniques and equipment.
- Knowledge of use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and complicated drawings.
Position Details:
- Ensure Quality services and support for all missions are assigned to their site(s)
- Support and maintain a positive and productive atmosphere at sites
- Ensure all company and customer guidelines are being upheld
Responsibilities:
- Client relationship & Business development-
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and site personnel
- Daily communications with operations management and various stakeholders at the site level
- Operations-
- Isolate, tag and verify nonconforming material
- Perform visual, mechanical, and functional verifications to ensure compliance to quality standards and specifications
- Demonstrates commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
- Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies
- Technical-
- Update daily system entries in company and customer portals (CRIS)
- Create and maintain customer and company reports
- Utilize CRIS to record required audits and documentation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
