What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at PTM Solar?
Summary:
Seeking Customer Service/Sales Representatives who are eager to support NYS transition to clean energy. A background in Customer Service/Sales is preferred, but not required (we will train you!). The hours of operation are from 10am-7pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Speaking to potential customers to share information on our cost and energy-saving solar systems.
- Utilize personal network, social media, and face to face efforts to create sales opportunities.
- Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar and local community solar farms.
- Follow-up with customers to ensure their transition to Solar goes as seamlessly as possible.
- Support customers in registering for Community Solar projects in order to receive energy credits.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Prior Customer Service and/or Sales experience
- Full-Time availability
- Professionalism & Entrepreneurial
- Solid communication skills
- Goal Orientated
What's required:
- Professional, consultative approach to in-home presentations and proposals.
- Ability to speak passionately about the positive impacts of sustainable solar energy.
- Live within 30 minutes to 1 hour of office and have reliable way to and from office.
