Description
We are looking for a skilled CNC Router Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating CNC router equipment and a solid understanding of blueprint reading and mathematics. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Woodworking experience is a plus but not required. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position, working Monday through Thursday from 3:00pm-1:00am. This position may require additional hours (overtime) to meet demand as needed.
Set up, operate, and maintain CNC router machines to produce parts according to specifications and blueprints.
Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine proper machine setup and production methods.
Perform measurements and calculations, including fraction/decimal conversions, geometry, and basic trigonometry, to ensure accuracy in part production.
Load materials onto the CNC router, secure workpieces, and monitor machine operation to ensure optimal performance and quality.
Make adjustments to machine controls and tool paths as needed to maintain part specifications.
Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
Communicate with team members and supervisors about production progress and any issues encountered during operation.
Other duties as assigned or as appropriate.
Qualifications
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficient in mathematics, including fraction/decimal conversions, geometry, and basic trigonometry.
Basic computer knowledge for machine programming and data entry.
Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy in work assignments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
Prior experience operating CNC router equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
Woodworking experience
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for CNC programming.
Understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
