Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Helper to assist our delivery team in providing exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining a positive customer experience. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading packages from the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure that all items are accounted for and in good condition before delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently when necessary.
- Help navigate routes and ensure timely deliveries within designated timeframes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Support the team in warehouse operations, including inventory management and heavy lifting tasks as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Experience in moving, courier services, or commercial driving is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks on a regular basis.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics will be advantageous.
