Title: Data Engineer

Location: Jersey City NJ OR Wilmington DE

Must Skills: Extensive Python and Pyspark experience, Should have Java background in past.

Should have Python and Pyspark, AWS, EC2, S3, Lambada. EMR

1. 5 years applied experience; bachelor’s degree required Python Programming.
2. Strong skills around object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD), data structures, algorithms, design patterns. Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
3. Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
4. Proficient in coding in Python, PySpark, Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and SQL Databases,
5. Prior hands-on experience in Cloud technologies - AWS, AZURE etc.
6. Hands-on experience on AWS with exposure to ECS/EKS, SQS, S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS DB and Step functions
7. Prior experience on big data platforms. – Hadoop, Databricks etc.
8. Advanced in two or more technologies – Functional Programming, Microservices, RESTful webservices development, Kafka, Hibernate.
9. Cloud – Strong Hands-on Cloud Native Architecture - AWS, Containerization / Kubernetes
10. Experience in data analysis, physical database design, relational and No SQL database.
11. Prior experience on Splunk is preferred.
12. Excellent communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
