The Data Quality and Stewardship team within Banking Client's Data organization is looking for a resource to join its data quality technology team.
The Data Quality and Stewardship organization within Data is responsible for driving data architecture to deliver front-to-back design, identify gaps, and implement a robust governance framework across Banking Client. A key focus is on Data Quality, including Completeness, Accuracy, and Timeliness across data flows. The function is responsible for extensive partnering across Asset Classes to drive key initiatives and associated deliverables for the data strategy and manage change with the right governance frame. The function and role span the firm's organization, and as a result, require strong engagement with relevant teams.
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Job Description
The Data Quality and Stewardship team within Banking Client's Data organization is looking for a resource to join its data quality technology team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership within the data analyst team involved in data quality initiatives spanning global functions, including regulatory and other deliverables.
- Working with cross-functional teams to develop, test, implement, and maintain data quality rules covering the trade life cycle across Markets data.
- Analyzing data quality exceptions to identify root causes and business impacts for data quality issues raised.
- Enhancing data quality process automation, governance, and reporting.
- Preparing and presenting written and verbal updates to senior management.
- Ensuring adherence to best practices supporting Banking Client's Program, Project, and Data Management Standards.
- Appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Banking Client, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Required Skills:
- 8 years of experience in data-focused initiatives across Pre-Trade/Post-Trade activities such as RFQ, Order/Executions, Trades, MTM, Positions, etc.
- 5 years of experience in writing SQL queries and reviewing stored procedures.
- Exposure to Capital Markets is beneficial.
- Understanding of financial products and regulatory reporting is beneficial.
- Experience working with databases, reporting, and analytics.
- Experience in issue tracking and governance with systems like JIRA / HPQC is a plus.
- Proven stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
- Data and results-oriented with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently.
- Exceptional level of motivation and diligence coupled with excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong relationship-building skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience / Master's degree
