Reporting Relationship:
Position reports to the Vice President of Information Technology, or as otherwise
determined by the Company.
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities will include:
• Project Management for significant system implementations
• Data migration leadership and support
• Business requirement development
• Manage software development through third party vendors
• Project planning and milestone development
• RFPs for new software
• Perform underwriting, operational, and financial analysis utilizing internal and
external data sources
• Utilize SQL to develop data exports for internal and external users.
• Develop intuitive visualizations for executive audiences to monitor key
performance metrics
• Ad hoc SQL report development
• Advise business leaders based on analysis findings
• Develop and manage a team of business analysts to support the above
responsibilities
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as directed by the Manager of the Company.
Required Job Qualifications:
• SQL programming experience – 5 years
• Experience in querying database systems, Microsoft Access, Microsoft
Excel, and other reporting systems
• Verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills
• Experience collecting and communication business requirements – 5
Years
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Finance, Mathematics, or Computer Science path of study
• Direct report experience with business analyst resources.
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with IMS (Insurance Management System)
• Experience with insurance operations
• Experience with Visual Basic for Applications
• Experience with insurance catastrophe modelling
• Verisk AIR Software experience
• Qlik Data Visualization
