Position: Java Backend Developer
Location: Plano, TX
6-12 months contract with high possibility of conversion into full-time
We are looking for experienced software developers with a robust background in Java and the Spring Framework. Proficiency in relational databases is essential, along with cloud experience, preferably with AWS. You will be instrumental in developing the next generation of Client’s core platform.

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. - Design, develop and maintain Java applications
- Write well-designed, testable and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the best practices for software development
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Participating in scrum ceremonies
Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills
- Java – 7 years
- Spring Framework – 5 years
- Cloud experience – 2 years AWS preferred
- Experience designing and building events based on microservices
- Experience building and deploying cloud native apps – preferably AWS.
- Experience with Domain Driven Design
- Strong design pattern fundamentals
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Experience working with SQL as well as NoSQL DBS
