Job Summary:
In this position, you will be responsible for managing the outdoor lighting process and the companys annual contact voltage reporting requirement. You will communicate with internal and external stakeholders to create, or update, street lighting records and be responsible for summarizing contact voltage testing results, identifying trends, and recommending any changes to our existing testing program. For this position, you should have a basic knowledge of electricity, understand business policies affecting the division/area and be comfortable making difficult decisions in a timely manner while balancing internal client and external customer needs.

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. - Hybrid in Lincoln, RI ( M/F from home and Tues-Thurs in office)
- Build strong strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as Jurisdictions, Operations, Customer Service, Regulatory, Pricing, Risk & Insurance, Distribution Design, Engineering and IS - to deliver high impact and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting on progress of Outdoor Lighting (OL) initiatives including milestone achievement, budget, KPI delivery and risks to maximize adoption.
- Assist in timely customer street light asset sales, maintenance & new construction requests. Improve Municipal Street Light Purchase process to build companys reputation.
- Administer and improve inventory and billing systems and processes. Continuously assess and manage daily tasks with the understanding that system and process issues may arise that require immediate attention and resolution.
- Compare contact voltage testing results against company standards and identify locations that require follow-up repairs to mitigate elevated voltages.
- Coordinate with internal inspectors to perform post mitigation testing in areas where elevated voltages were identified.
- Utilize current fiscal year and historical data to create the annual contact voltage report summarizing contact voltage results, program costs, shock line calls, company standards and future program recommendations.
- Ability to assist and/or testify in a regulatory filing.
- Manager wants local talent (within driving distance to Providence RI,) In the case of remote work, physical presence in the office/on-site may be required to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers.
Senior Analyst
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for the specific position.
- Effective written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Senior Analyst 1. Knowledge of relevant industry practice, standards and best practices related to outdoor Lighting.
- Knowledge of lighting terminologies such as Lumens, Watts, Color Rendering Index, Kelvin Temperature, High Pressure Sodium Vapor, Light Emitting Diode, Driver, Ballast, Average maintained footcandles.
- Ability to read and interpret Company GIS plans to determine locations for outdoor lighting per Customers requests. 4. Knowledge of contact voltage testing procedures and equipment.
