Staff Attorney - Immigration
Location – Fully Onsite in San Jose, CA 95127 (Relocation expenses will be provided if candidate is non local)
Duration – Direct Hire/Permanent role
Pay range - $120K-150K
The Staff Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research and drafting motions, as well as attending immigration hearings and immigration office interviews.
Qualifications
- Legal Advice, Research, and Negotiation skills
- Spanish Fluency
- Experience in immigration law and labor and employment law
- Strong understanding of legal procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Membership in the state bar
- Two years of experience practicing immigration law preferred but not required
Pay Range: $120,000 - $150,000
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
