About The JD:

This job description is for a Sustainability team member at Client who will support their efforts in carbon and renewable energy markets. The role focuses on assisting Client's carbon credit program and other market-based mechanisms, as well as general team operations. Key responsibilities include managing program administration, organizing sustainability documentation, supporting strategy development related to carbon markets and other environmental markets, conducting climate trend research and creating communications materials. The ideal candidate is early in their sustainability career, analytical, organized, data-fluent, passionate about sustainability, and committed to equality. Client aims to leverage its platform to drive positive change for its customers and the planet.

Initial responsibilities include:

• Manage internal processes and documents related to vendor onboarding, RFP execution, purchase orders, invoicing, records management
• Lead the collection and organization of documentation for annual GHG foot printing and other forms of sustainability reporting
• Support strategy development related to client’s engagement with the voluntary carbon market and other environmental markets
• Support the research and analysis of climate trends for topics like carbon markets and projects, the energy transition, climate policies and standards, AI, and more
• Create communications materials (presentations, memos, etc.) with internal and external stakeholder engagement
