Contract Driver - Tow Car Owner

The Contract Driver will play a critical role in safely and efficiently transporting our fleet to and from customers and outside yards locations across the United States. This position will report to the Logistics Manager and be responsible for operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV), laboring in the field as needed, and maintaining compliance with all applicable DOT guidelines and regulations. As a valued member of our team, you'll be relied upon to uphold our commitment to safety, customer service, and excellence in everything you do. COMPENSATION: Pay per mile is based on a $30-an-hour average

LOCATIONS: CO, PA, TX

Requirements

• Tow car with installed flat tow assembly
• Clean driving record / unrestricted driver's license
• Physically maneuver through small places and move around comfortably on and off a trailer
• Professional driving/transportation experience
• CDL not required, but a plus

Responsibilities

• Review boards for 1099 drivers. Expect to normally drive 300 - 500 miles per day.
• Must obey 75 mph as top speed. Managers can view driver speed.
• Drivers must communicate during drop-offs and maintain professionalism with PTR customers at all times.
