Our client is a heavy civil industrial company specializing in earthwork and deep foundation / site work, hydro excavation and forestry. They have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager. Position can be based out of Lafayette or Slaughter, LA.

Primary Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale heavy civil and industrial construction projects.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
- Ensure alignment of project goals with company objectives and client expectations.
- Manage and mentor project teams, including project managers, coordinators, and site supervisors, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Promote collaboration and effective communication across all departments.
- Identify and address training and development needs within the project team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and executives, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment with clients’ goals, addressing concerns and managing expectations effectively.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and progress updates with clients and senior management.
- Identify and assess potential project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Resolve project-related issues and conflicts promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and objectives.
- Continuously monitor and adapt project plans to address challenges and changing conditions.
- Ensure all project activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor compliance and address any issues.
- Champion a culture of safety, promoting adherence to safety protocols and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with company targets.
- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports and forecasts to senior management weekly.
- Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met, and manage any changes or disputes effectively.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
