Position Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to sales associates regarding cutting tools.
- Searches for emerging technologies in the cutting tool industry that will enhance the XX product offering.
- Determine new technology fit with existing product line.
- Look for opportunities to expand product offerings.
- Develop strategic product plans.
- Administer and track tool testing
- Collect data to provide cost savings for customers
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION:
- 5 years of experience in the cutting tool industry.
- Background in industrial products (cutting tools, abrasives, etc.).
- Able to work with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
- Track record of managing a category across divisions/companies.
- Deep knowledge of pricing methodologies and relevant competitive markets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
