Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. Driver/Laborer will assist in a variety of construction related tasks, including picking up and delivering materials to job sites, cleaning and preparing a job site, and using a variety of tools. Will set up and take down ladders, scaffolding and other temporary structures. Must be a motivated self-starter, many of these tasks will be done solo.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Must be trustworthy, able to work with minimal supervision and desire to get the job done efficiently and effectively
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must be extremely dependable and have good communication skills
- Must be able to lift 70-80 lbs.
- Must ensure that all work is being done in compliance with the company's protocols
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Drive trucks carrying materials and equipment to sites, and load and unload equipment and materials.
- Prepare sites to ensure maximum optimization of construction work procedures
- Clean debris, trash and hazardous materials from construction sites
- Erect temporary structures and scaffolding, dig trenches
- Perform site maintenance tasks such as trimming trees and clearing shrubs
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Driver's license with clean record, CDL not required.
- Ability to adhere to established safety procedures.
WORK SCHEDULE
Weekdays 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
