The PCAOB has an internship available in the Data team which is a part of the Office of Technology (OT). The team is looking for an intern who will bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to improve data management processes. This position will allow you to gain hands-on experience in an engineering position by shadowing knowledgeable professionals and assisting the team on various projects and tasks as required.

What We Offer
- Undergraduate students: $25.00/hour
- Graduate students: $29.00/hour
- Ph.D./JD students: $37.00/hour
- Hybrid work option – Staff will be assigned to one of our offices, including: Washington, DC (Headquarters); Ashburn, VA; Irvine, CA; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Denver, CO; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Tampa, FL; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; New York, NY; Charlotte, NC; Philadelphia, PA; Dallas, TX; or Houston, TX office or location. Staff can choose to live and work from anywhere within the United States but will be required to commute to their assigned office or location for occasional intentional gatherings or meetings at the frequency required by their supervisor. Travel to an assigned office or location for commuting purposes will not be considered reimbursable business travel, unless otherwise required by state law. Business travel is reimbursable in an amount not exceeding the cost to travel from the assigned office or location, unless otherwise required by state law.

Responsibilities
- Support the Data team in developing, testing, and maintaining various applications.
- Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support as and when needed.
- Support data team with various functions such as programming, analytics, and data management.
- Current academic enrollment in a degree-seeking program at the undergraduate level, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent major.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Programming in Python and SQL with familiarity in software testing and data warehousing concepts
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and Databricks platforms
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in teams
- Strong work ethics and attention to detail
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
