Salary : $29.94-$43.19 hourly SUMMARY Management Analysts will research, analyze, and make recommendations on the department’s Settlement Agreements and Release (SARs), double time pay, Departmental Action Affecting Pay (DAPP) memos, shift differentials and other departmentwide pay issues. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Review and process the SARs, double time pay, DAPP memos, shift differentials, etc.
- Analyze and interpret County Code, MOUs, etc. to ensure processing transactions in e-HR are accurate and in accordance with County Code, MOUs, etc.
- Analyze, research information and determines how best to present information and data to management.
- Develop and maintain various reports for their respective hospitals (e.g., LAC USC, Harbor-UCLA, Olive View, and Rancho Los Amigos).
- Create ad hoc reports for management upon request. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide information to assist with preparation of payroll and timesheet instructions and guidelines for employees and management.
- Give trainings and presentations to employees regarding how to properly code as it relates to shift differentials, etc. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with processing employee Payroll, State and Federal Leave and worker's compensation. Education / Experience
- A bachelor's degree and two years’ experience reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting policies, procedures, laws, regulations, etc. Certificates / Licenses / Clearances
- A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related functions.
- Successful clearance of a live scan process with the County of Los Angeles. Other Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
