Bachelor’s degree in social services with one year related experience in or case management, housing and/or homeless services is required Candidates should also possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, the ability to maintain a flexible schedule, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and excellent written and verbal skills.
Job Description:
Responsible for creating and ensuring that course curriculum is suitable and enforced.
Responsible for branding, and the overall vision alignment for the housing program's mission.
Responsible for delegating, supervising, and ensuring that staff meets all housing programs and workshops requirements and deadlines.
Responsible for being an active support to the Program Director.
Responsible for participating in leadership development trainings for the Lifeset, and HELP initiative.
Capable of communicating regularly and effectively with the funders, service providers, staff, and support personnel to ensure that participants meet program requirements and maintain housing when secured.
Responsible for establishing, fostering, and maintaining professional relationships with landlords and donors.
Responsible for the marketing and advertising of the program.
Responsible for organizing and facilitating meetings.•Responsible for program presentation and public speaking engagements.•Knowledgeable of staffs’ responsibilities and capable of complete their duties if needed.
Knowledgeable of city and state laws related to housing.•Knowledgeable of program eligibility, must be able to answer difficult questions about housing and program expectation.
Must be familiar with our different funding streams, state and federal grants.•Consultation with Leadership to determine that all program goals are met.
Responsible for the completion of required documentation and reports.•Responsible for thinking proactively to address the concerns of housing participants and staff.
Responsible for developing and conducting supervision training for staff members apart of the housing program (HELP)•Responsible for implementing Rapid Rehousing initiative including but not limited to, supervise caseworkers, attend intakes, maintain and engage, landlord relationships maintaining accurate case files to OHS standards, conduct home visits, maintain HMIS data entry, complete required OHS reports, attend OHS meetings
Experience
Required
One year related experience in or case management, housing and/or homeless services is required
Preferred
Posse strong organizational skills and attention to detail, the ability to maintain a flexible schedule, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and excellent written and verbal skills.
