Job Summary
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities. This position involves providing compassionate care and support to young man with autism at home and in the community promoting independence.
Duties
- Provide direct support for daily living activities.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking as needed.
- Facilitate social interactions and community engagement.
- Implementation of goals and objectives.
Experience
- Experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A compassionate nature
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
