Public Partnerships LLC (PPL) provides helps people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or other long-term health conditions stay at home and “self-direct” their care. Known as consumer direction in New York, this long-term care model empowers people to take control of who provides their services and where. PPL was selected to be the Statewide Fiscal Intermediary for the New York Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) starting in 2025. We will, along with a diverse alliance of service partners across the state, support the delivery of culturally sensitive and disability competent care to CDPAP participants. We are seeking candidates who reside local to Albany, NY
The Director of Fulfillment will oversee all aspects of mailroom operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely handling of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and related logistics. This role is vital to maintaining smooth mailroom workflows and ensuring services align with company goals and client expectations. Responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating with internal teams, optimizing processes, and leading the mailroom staff to deliver high-quality fulfillment services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mailroom Fulfillment Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to streamline mailroom operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and error-free processing of mail and packages.
- Mailroom Operations Management: Supervise all mailroom functions, including receiving, sorting, shipping, and distributing mail and packages. Oversee logistics to ensure that workflows run smoothly.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the mailroom staff, fostering a productive and cohesive team environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine mailroom workflows to improve efficiency, reduce delays, and enhance service quality.
- Customer Service: Ensure that mailroom operations meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations. Address any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Timesheet Oversight: Oversee the accurate and timely manual entry of employee timesheets, ensuring compliance with company policies and resolving any discrepancies as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments such as operations, customer service, and administration to align mailroom services with organizational needs.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory of mailroom supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels to prevent disruptions.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze mailroom performance metrics to identify trends, optimize processes, and report on operational successes.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure mailroom operations adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements. Proactively address any potential risks or operational challenges.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage the mailroom budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining operational goals.
- Escalation Management: Resolve escalated issues related to mailroom fulfillment quickly and effectively.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred. -
Experience:
7 years of experience in fulfillment, mailroom, logistics, or operations management.
3 years in a leadership or director-level role. -
Certification:
Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) are a plus.
Compensation range: $120,000- $135,000 annual salary
