The Business Analyst – Reporting is responsible for creating, analyzing, and managing data-driven reports to support business decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of business operations, data visualization, and analytics to ensure accurate, actionable insights are provided to stakeholders. The Business Analyst collaborates with teams across the organization to gather data, design dashboards and actionable reports, and support data-driven insights.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Report Development and Analysis:
Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
Distribute reports to internal business partners to support internal and external engagements.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
Ensure accuracy and relevance of data presented in reports.
Prepare and present regional program readouts, incorporating the following key data points: Call SLA's, KPI’s (Lead Volume, Enrollment (conversion rate), GTG), Staffing Status, Wins, Opportunities for Improvement (Escalations, CRs), Client Updates (concerns, pipeline)
Data Gathering and Requirements Analysis:
Collaborate with business units to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable reports.
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to business objectives.
Gather data from multiple sources, ensuring its integrity and reliability.
Performance Monitoring and Insights:
Monitor business performance and provide regular updates through dashboards and reports.
Identify inefficiencies or opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.
Create ad hoc reports and analyses to address urgent business questions or initiatives.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work with cross-functional teams, including operations, client success, communications, and IT, to integrate reporting into business processes.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure reporting solutions meet business needs.
Data Governance and Quality Assurance:
Maintain data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and validation checks.
Ensure compliance with data security policies and best practices.
Document processes, methodologies, and reporting standards.
Lead the bi-annual phone audit to ensure the PPL Brand is reflected on all outbound calls across cell carriers/providers.
Tool and Process Improvement:
Evaluate and recommend improvements to reporting tools and processes.
Stay updated on the latest reporting and analytics technologies.
Train stakeholders on how to interpret and use reports effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, review, and refine user stories for CE Core initiatives.
Develop and manage digital communications strategies for CE Core.
Required Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUPs).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
3 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, or data analytics.
Experience with reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Working Conditions:
Remote setting.
Some travel may be required.
Pay Range: $70,000 -$90,000 based on experience
