The main duties:
- Manage the work of all loan service areas to include collections, underwriting, real estate loans, direct lending, loan processing, loan documentation, and loan decisions for consumer, real estate loans, and revolving credit card programs.
- Establish, maintain, and develop effective communication, coaching, oversight, direction, evaluation, delegation of authority, training, and development of all assigned direct reports.
- Research, resolve and respond to member disputes and complaints.
- Assist the Chief Lending Officer in coordinating internal and external audit preparations.
The ‘must-have’ list:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or currently enrolled and actively taking classes towards a business-related degree is required.
- A minimum of five years of banking experience is required; lending experience is preferred.
- Must possess or be eligible for a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) number.
- Willingness to work outside of typical business hours when necessary.
The wish list:
- Underwriting experience preferred.
- Two years of management experience is preferred.
- Credit Union experience is a plus.

- Credit Union Hours – M-F 8:45 am – 5:15 pm, Saturday 8:45 am – 1:15 pm
- Status: Full-Time (40 hours), Exempt
- Starting Salary: $65 - $75K, depending on experience
- Location: Main Branch, 2800 E 14th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64127**
