About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled System/Commissioning Engineer to provide technical support in our Engineering Services department for the Salem Power Uprate Project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sponsoring and implementing power uprate modifications for Salem Units 1 and 2.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the required scope of work and explore various alternative solutions for required modifications.
- Sponsor plant modifications through the plant approval process.
- Fulfill the role of the system lead engineer for modifications.
- Ensure adequate systems integration and fulfill the role of plant systems subject matter experts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Controls or related Engineering or related technical degree.
- 13 years of experience performing related Engineering work in a nuclear power plant or related industry.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in controls system engineering.
- Availability for shift work during installation.
- Must meet Nuclear requirements for unescorted plant access.
- Must possess a valid US driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
