This role requires a strong technical background in high voltage Air Insulated (AIS) and Gas Insulated (GIS) substations. The successful candidate will work closely with technical disciplines, project management, and construction teams to ensure successful project execution.
About the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering) and at least 8 years of experience in public electric utility high voltage AIS and GIS substation engineering. A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems is highly desirable. Additionally, the candidate should possess a valid driver's license and be willing to work on call 24/7 hours to handle emergency replacement work and assist during system emergencies. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing guidance to junior engineers.
