Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily.

Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work / in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.

Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary

Accountable for the in-field application of policies and procedures relating to applied Health and Safety Programs. Although this individual does not have any direct reports on the organizational chart, this position serves as the authority and provides direction to all personnel on-site related to industrial health and safety matters. This position's expertise includes specialized training and experience, such as asbestos and lead safety, which enables them to oversee and manage safety programs.

Job Responsibilities

• Accountable for the in-field and administrative application of policies and procedures relating to industrial health and safety programs; provide feedback and direction to all work groups as the authority on safety matters
• Responsible for the regulatory knowledge of industrial safety programs - including asbestos, lead, etc.
• Authority and implementor for site wide tactical and strategic safety initiatives
• Responsible for peer meetings, benchmarking, and industry involvement to ensure industry best practices and standards are implemented across the PSEG Fleet
