What are the responsibilities and job description for the Power Uprate Specialist position at Public Service Enterprise Group?
We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team as a Principal Controls Systems Commissioning Engineer. The successful candidate will provide technical support for the Salem Power Uprate Project, working closely with the project manager to ensure that all engineering deliverables meet the overall project goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems engineering and commissioning experience in the power generation industry. They will be responsible for performing the duties of a system/commissioning engineer for the power uprate for Salem Units 1 and 2.
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Related Field: The candidate must have a BS degree in mechanical, civil, or a related field, with at least 13 years of experience performing related engineering work in a nuclear power plant or related industry.
- Minimum of 7 Years of Experience: The candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in controls system engineering.
- Availability for Shift Work: The engineer must be available for shift work during installation.
